1. Disney Wonder Very Merrytime Cruise: Day Six – At Sea

After three port days, it was a great feeling when I woke up just after 8:00am that we now had two sea days on our Very Merrytime Cruise on the Disney Wonder to enjoy before arriving back into Galveston. When I walked up to Deck 9 to get tea, the outside decks were still very empty at this time so I guessed everyone was having a lazy morning and a lay-in after a late evening the night before when the Pirates IN the Caribbean fireworks had taken place. 2. Disney Wonder Very Merrytime Cruise: Day Five – Falmouth, Jamaica

After a brilliant albeit tiring day the day before in Grand Cayman on our Very Merrytime Cruise on the Disney Wonder, we were both looking forward to a more relaxed day. We were woken up just after 7:00am by the thrusters of the ship as we started to dock in Falmouth. I tried to fall back asleep but could not which was annoying as it was going to be a long day as the Pirates IN the Caribbean fireworks were due to start at 10:00pm that night. (more…)

  3. Disney Wonder Very Merrytime Cruise: Day Four – George Town, Grand Cayman

After our lazy day of not doing anything in Cozumel the day before, I woke up at 8:00am (after originally waking up at 6:00am) on our Very Merrytime Cruise on the Disney Wonder excited and raring to go as I was actually really looking forward to visiting the Cayman Islands – somewhere I had never visited before. It was noticeable that there was quite a lot of movement on the ship and the sea seemed quite rough outside and I was hoping that this would not affect our day as Grand Cayman is a tender port. (more…)

  4. Disney Wonder Very Merrytime Cruise: Day Three – Cozumel, Mexico

When I woke up on the third day of our Very Merrytime Cruise on the Disney Wonder just after 7:00am, I could hardly feel any movement of the ship at all so I knew we were getting close to Cozumel. From the verandah, I watched as the pilot boat approached just before 7:30am and as it was a clear day, I could see over to the Mexican mainland in the distance. (more…)

  5. Disney Wonder Very Merrytime Cruise: Day Two – At Sea

After a good night’s sleep, I woke up just before 7:00am and it was a wonderful feeling for the first time in a busy week to know that we did not have to do anything on this day if we did not want to. It was a beautiful morning and walking out onto the verandah and hearing the waves whilst getting that morning hit of fresh sea air felt amazing. (more…)

  6. Disney Wonder Very Merrytime Cruise: Day One – Galveston, Texas

Five years ago, I had never even been on a cruise ship in my life so waking up on this day knowing that I was going to board my fourth Disney Cruise that morning was an amazing feeling. We were going to be sailing on a Very Merrytime Cruise aboard the beautiful Disney Wonder from Galveston in Texas to the Western Caribbean ports of Cozumel, Grand Cayman and Falmouth as well as having three days at sea. (more…)

  7. Disney Wonder Very Merrytime Cruise: The Long Journey to Galveston

You know that saying “it never rains but it pours” – well that phrase could accurately describe the run up to our long awaited holiday where we would be travelling to Galveston in Texas to board a Very Merrytime Cruise onboard the beautiful Disney Wonder. We had all the details of our trip planned for months and everything was booked and going to plan. We were going to be flying from London to Atlanta and then picking up a car and doing a road trip to Galveston – we even had all our stops planned and hotels booked and were both looking forward to it. (more…)

  8. Disney Wonder to Alaska: Day Eight – Vancouver

As is normal when I know I have to wake up early in the morning, I barely slept on our last night of the cruise. I had set my alarm clock for 5.30am as I wanted to be outside on deck as we sailed into Vancouver. After getting dressed I checked the map on the television to see where the ship currently was and then headed up to Deck 10 with my cameras where you could already see Vancouver in the distance. (more…)

  9. Disney Wonder to Alaska: Day Seven – At Sea

After another good night’s sleep we woke up to what would be the last full day of our Alaskan cruise onboard the Disney Wonder. We were due to be at sea all day before arriving back into Vancouver the following morning. After getting dressed we headed to a very empty Triton’s for breakfast. (more…)
