1. How to Get From Hong Kong Island to Hong Kong Disneyland

I never thought I would write this blog post as I have always thought that getting to Hong Kong Disneyland from Hong Kong Island was incredibly simple and did not need explaining. Recently however, many people have asked me to give them directions of how to do the journey or asked me if it is easy to do. Therefore two weeks ago whilst I was in Hong Kong, I took some photos during the journey to Hong Kong Disneyland. (more…)

  2. My Trip to Shanghai Disneyland

I was so excited to be finally heading to Shanghai Disneyland that I woke up every hour on the hour during the night panicking that I had overslept before falling back asleep again. I finally got out of bed around 6:00am in the morning to start getting ready for the day ahead. With some trepidation, I opened the curtains and breathed a sigh of relief when I saw a perfect morning with clear blue skies outside – hopefully it would stay like that for the rest of the day and not rain like had been forecast. 3. A Trip to Shanghai Disneytown

In June this year, I was finally on my way to China to visit Shanghai Disneyland. The only thing that was not looking good was that the weather whilst I was in Shanghai was forecast to be 90% rain and thunderstorms for the whole time I was there. Still I was looking on the bright side and was just excited to be visiting so soon after the Grand Opening of the park the previous week. (more…)

  4. Hong Kong Disneyland Egg-Stravaganza

As I was in Hong Kong for work earlier this week, I managed to find a few hours spare for a quick visit to Hong Kong Disneyland before flying home to check out the Spring decorations throughout the park. I found out there was a Disney Character Egg Hunt that you could do when at the park. So after grabbing a park map which listed all the different eggs to find (there are over 60 of them), I set off in the hope of finding them all. (more…)

  5. Paint the Night – Hong Kong Disneyland

I had originally planned to write this blog post with these photos a long time ago…

I love night time Disney parades (one of my favourites is Dreamlights in Tokyo Disneyland) so I was very excited when last September I received an invitation from being a Hong Kong Disneyland Magic Access (annual pass) member to a preview showing of their new Paint the Night parade. (more…)

As I will be visiting the fantastic city of Hong Kong again next week and will of course have time for another trip to Hong Kong Disneyland, I have decided to write and post some photos of one of my favourite Disney attractions – Mystic Manor. (more…)

  7. Christmas Fantasy 2014 – Tokyo Disneyland, Japan

Last week I happened to be in Japan for a couple of nights for work. I had one full day free on Friday so I decided to go to Tokyo Disneyland. Normally I would avoid the Japanese Disney parks on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday as they get incredibly busy but when I looked at the online calendar I saw that the Friday (the only day I could go) was going to be the first day for all the Christmas celebrations, I knew I had to go. 8. How to Get from Gare du Nord to Disneyland Paris by RER

When travelling from London to Disneyland Paris, most people tend to use the direct Eurostar service from St Pancras International to Marne-la-Vallée station which is situated directly next to both Disneyland Paris as well as Walt Disney Studios Park and the Disney Village. However this train does not run everyday throughout the year (especially during quieter off-peak times) and when it does operate it can quickly sell out leaving you to find an alternative route to get there. 9. Where to Get a Great View of Universal Studios Hollywood

Last year I found a photo on the internet showing a great view across the outside movie sets at Universal Studios in Hollywood – all the places you get to see if you’ve ever taken the Studio Tram Tour whilst in the park. With a little help from Google Maps I managed to find out where the photo had been taken. (more…)
