1. Staying at the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel in a Grand Park View Room

I had always wanted to stay at the beautiful Tokyo Disneyland Hotel since I first saw it being built and always wondered what it would be like to stay there.  Fast forward to this year when we visited Tokyo Disney Resort for four nights for my birthday and decided to not only book the Hotel MiraCosta for two nights but also the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel for the rest of our stay. (more…)

  2. Staying at the Tokyo DisneySea Hotel MiraCosta in a Porto Paradiso Harbor View Room

It had been a dream of mine to stay at the beautiful Hotel MiraCosta at Tokyo DisneySea since the very first time I visited the park back in 2008. Who would not want to stay at a hotel that is located entirely inside the best Disney park in the world? When we visited Japan last month and spent four days at Tokyo Disney Resort, we decided to book a Harbor View room at the Hotel MiraCosta for two nights of our stay. Yes it was expensive and more than I’ve ever paid for a hotel room in my life, but if you cannot treat yourself for your birthday, when can you? (more…)

  3. Hong Kong Disneyland Planning Guide

Hong Kong is one of my most visited cities in the world so it would make sense that Hong Kong Disneyland is my most visited Disney park in the world. It really is my happy place and I try to visit every time I’m in Hong Kong (which is usually once a month) even if it’s just for a few hours.

I recently wrote a planning guide for visiting Shanghai Disneyland so it is only right that I do the same for the amazing Hong Kong Disneyland that I have visited more times than I can honestly remember. I really hope that it will help anyone who is planning a trip to Hong Kong. (more…)

  4. Tips and Advice for Planning a Trip to Shanghai Disneyland

As you have probably already guessed if you’ve read my blog, I love visiting all the Disney parks around the world and Shanghai Disneyland which opened in June 2016 is no exception. Since my first visit during opening week and my most recent visit in November 2017, many people have asked me various questions about the park so I have decided to list all the tips, advice and handy need-to-know information I can think of in one place. I really hope that it will help anyone who is planning a trip to Shanghai. (more…)

  5. Snoopy’s World – New Town Plaza, Sha Tin, Hong Kong

After my visit earlier this year to the Charlie Brown Cafe in Hong Kong, I knew that next on my list of places to visit would be Snoopy’s World – a small “theme park” located in the New Territories on top of the New Town Plaza shopping mall in Sha Tin.  The best thing about Snoopy’s World is that it is completely free of charge to visit. (more…)

  6. My Trip to Shanghai Disneyland

I was so excited to be finally heading to Shanghai Disneyland that I woke up every hour on the hour during the night panicking that I’d overslept before falling back asleep again. I finally got out of bed around 6:00am in the morning to start getting ready for the day ahead. With some trepidation, I opened the curtains and breathed a sigh of relief when I saw a perfect morning with clear blue skies outside – hopefully it would stay like that for the rest of the day and not rain like had been forecast. (more…)

  7. A Trip to Shanghai Disneytown

In June this year, I was finally on my way to China to visit Shanghai Disneyland. The only thing that was not looking good was that the weather whilst I was in Shanghai was forecast to be 90% rain and thunderstorms for the whole time I was there. Still I was looking on the bright side and was just excited to be visiting so soon after the Grand Opening the previous week. (more…)

  8. Hong Kong Disneyland Egg-Stravaganza

As I was in Hong Kong for work earlier this week, I managed to find a few hours spare for a quick visit to Hong Kong Disneyland before flying home to check out the Spring decorations throughout the park. I found out there was a Disney Character Egg Hunt that you could do when at the park. So after grabbing a park map which listed all the different eggs to find (there are over 60 of them), I set off in the hope of finding them all. (more…)

  9. Paint the Night – Hong Kong Disneyland

I had originally planned to write this blog post with these photos a long time ago…

I love night time Disney parades (one of my favourites is Dreamlights in Tokyo Disneyland) so I was very excited when last September I received an invitation from being a Hong Kong Disneyland Magic Access (annual pass) member to a preview showing of their new Paint the Night parade. (more…)
