Where to Get the Best View of Seattle
One of the many places that I knew I would have to visit when I travelled to Seattle last year was Kerry Park. This is the place where you go to take that iconic photograph of the city. On a clear day you can see Downtown Seattle and Elliott Bay as well as Mount Rainier and Bainbridge Island in the distance too.

Kerry Park is located on West Highland Drive in the Queen Anne Hill neighbourhood of Seattle. You can drive here and park your car along the road whilst you are there or it is possible to walk there if you do not have use of a car – it’s located a mile from the Space Needle.

We visited Kerry Park early on a Sunday morning on the way to the Boeing Factory after picking up our rental car to start our road trip to the Canadian Rockies. It was a beautiful clear morning and hopefully I’ll get the chance to return to Seattle sooner rather than later to see the view at dusk with the lights of Seattle shining bright.
