1. Disney Dream Marvel Day at Sea Cruise: Day Five – Castaway Cay

    On the final day of our Marvel Day at Sea cruise onboard the beautiful Disney Dream I woke up after a good night’s sleep and immediately walked out onto our verandah where I could already see Castaway Cay ahead in the distance. It was so strange to be back at Castaway Cay as I really was not expecting to visit at all this year but that is what happens when other cruise companies cancel your long-awaited trip and mess you around leaving you to find alternative (and as it turns out, much better) plans!   2. Disney Dream Marvel Day at Sea Cruise: Day Three – Grand Cayman

    After our incredible albeit very long and tiring Marvel Day at Sea onboard the beautiful Disney Dream, a much more chilled and relaxed day was definitely needed which thankfully is exactly what we got. When we first woke up on this morning, we were already anchored in Grand Cayman and it looked like it was going to be even more relaxed than what we thought as it was raining heavily and you could barely even see George Town and if the weather had stayed like that, we would have remained onboard that day. However luckily for us (and as is usual in the Caribbean), an hour later there was bright blue skies and sunshine and it turned into the most beautiful day of our entire trip so far. (more…)

  3. Disney Dream Marvel Day at Sea Cruise: Day Two – At Sea

    On our first full day onboard the Disney Dream, I woke up just after 6:00am ready for our Marvel Day at Sea – one of the main reasons why we had booked this exact cruise! We already knew that it was going to be a very long day ahead but we also knew that we wanted to see and do as much as we possibly could so we had also set an alarm to make sure that we did not sleep in that morning – and the trouble with Disney Cruise Line beds is that they are so comfortable, that you do not want to move!
