1. Disney Magic Panama Canal Cruise: Day Thirteen – At Sea

After having simply the best and most wonderful time exploring Cabo San Lucas the previous day, it was finally our last full day at sea onboard the beautiful Disney Magic on our fourteen night Panama Canal cruise before our final port of call in Ensenada. I woke up just before 8:00am, which with the recent time changes on our long journey north towards San Diego in California, was the latest I had slept in on the entire cruise. It really felt so good to get a little extra rest, so I ran up to Deck 9 to grab us both a cup of tea along with a Pineapple Danish to enjoy while sitting in bed as we slowly woke up and got ready for the rest of our day on the ship. 2. Disney Magic Panama Canal Cruise: Day Eleven – At Sea

It was just before 6:00am when I woke up once again on our two week Panama Canal cruise on the beautiful Disney Magic. While I usually sleep so well onboard the ship, part of me always wishes I could sleep for much longer, as a lazy sea day is the perfect excuse for a long lie-in. We had very few plans for the day, which was ideal as this was our final day at sea before arriving in Cabo San Lucas the next morning. (more…)

  3. Disney Magic Panama Canal Cruise: Day Ten – At Sea

On the sixth sea day of this two week Panama Canal cruise on the beautiful Disney Magic, I woke up early yet again just after 7:00am. Walking out onto our verandah felt absolutely wonderful as it was another beautiful morning outside with barely a cloud in the sky. As we had a very lazy start to our day planned, we sat in bed with a cup of tea, taking our time to do absolutely nothing since we had no other plans until a little bit later that morning. (more…)

  4. Disney Magic Panama Canal Cruise: Day Nine – At Sea

After our first overnight time change of the cruise where we thankfully gained an extra hour of sleep, I woke up feeling incredibly well rested just before 7:30am. Once again I had slept so well and I was definitely happy that I had remembered to pack earplugs with me on this trip, as they worked really well at blocking out any noise from the annoying squeak in our stateroom, which was slowly starting to drive me a little mad as our cruise progressed. 5. Disney Magic Panama Canal Cruise: Day Eight – At Sea

Waking up on the first morning after two of the most tiring days that I have ever spent on a Disney cruise ship, I only had one goal in mind for the day and that was to do absolutely nothing. On every long cruise, there always comes a time when you just want to take it easy and do as little as humanly possible, and for us, this was definitely it. (more…)

  6. Disney Magic Panama Canal Cruise: Day Five – At Sea

On the fifth day of our Panama Canal cruise onboard the beautiful Disney Magic, I woke up just after 7:00am. While I was finally starting to sleep much better, I was still wishing that I was able to sleep in for much longer, as it was taking me much more time than normal to adjust to the time difference from the UK. Despite having won our game of basketball the previous evening, I walked up to Deck 9 to get us both a cup of tea since I was awake first which almost never happens at home where I struggle to get out of bed without an alarm. The first thing that was immediately noticeable was just how hot it was outside so early in the day, as the heat from the doors by the entrance to Cabanas could be felt in the stairwells two decks down. (more…)

  7. Disney Magic Panama Canal Cruise: Day Four – At Sea

The morning after leaving Cozumel on the Disney Magic, I woke up just after 6:00am ready for the next two days at sea on our way down to our next port of Cartagena in Colombia. Even though I had slept well overnight, I still felt incredibly tired so I tried to go back to sleep again and I managed to doze off for another hour or so. (more…)

  8. Disney Magic Panama Canal Cruise: Day Two – At Sea

Waking up on the Disney Magic on the first morning of our fourteen night Panama Canal cruise with absolutely no plans and precisely nowhere to go really was one of the best feelings ever. Normally on most cruises, I always feel the need to get up and start doing as much as I can but this cruise with so many sea days ahead of us, was going to be very different as there is something about a longer cruise that really encourages you to slow down. (more…)

  9. Disney Fantasy Pixar Day at Sea Cruise: Day Five – At Sea

On the final morning of our Pixar Day at Sea cruise on the Disney Fantasy, I woke up just after 7:00am. This was actually the latest I had managed to sleep during our whole time onboard the ship which is funny because at home, I struggle to wake up without setting several alarms! Looking outside, it was simply the most beautiful and picture perfect morning and I could not wait to enjoy the rest of our day onboard as we spent the day at sea slowly sailing around in circles in the Bahamas. (more…)

  10. Disney Fantasy Pixar Day at Sea Cruise: Day Two – At Sea

On the first full day of our Disney Fantasy cruise I woke up just after 6:30am all ready for our Pixar Day at Sea. I was very grateful to have had a good night’s sleep as I knew that we had a very long day ahead of us. It was a beautiful morning out and after quickly running up to Deck 11 for a cup of tea along with a pastry from Cove Cafe, we sat in bed and watched the Good Morning Disney Fantasy show on the television before looking over the Personal Navigator on the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app and planning out our day ahead which I was so looking forward to.
