1. How to Buy Train Tickets in Italy

In December I travelled to Pisa in Italy for a short break before Christmas. There is not much to do in Pisa apart from climb the Leaning Tower but just an easy train ride away is Cinque Terre – somewhere I had always wanted to visit from the first time I saw that iconic photo of the village of Manarola. 2. How to Get to Featherdale Wildlife Park – Sydney, Australia

Last week whilst in Sydney, I finally had the opportunity to visit Featherdale Wildlife Park. It is somewhere where I’ve wanted to go to for several years now and never have had the time before now. A seven day pass just about pays for itself by doing a return trip from Tokyo to Shin-Osaka so any other trips you then make on the pass are a bonus. (more…)

  6. How to Get to the Great Wall of China at Badaling by Train

Before I travelled to Beijing recently, I spent a lot of time on the internet searching for information about catching the train from Beijing North station to the Great Wall of China at Badaling. Unfortunately I found a lot of confusing and conflicting information including many people saying to catch a train that does not even exist anymore! I took many photos on the journey in order to try and make it much simpler for anyone else who wants to do the same journey. (more…)
