1. How to Get From Hong Kong Island to Hong Kong Disneyland

I never thought I would write this blog post as I have always thought that getting to Hong Kong Disneyland from Hong Kong Island was incredibly simple and did not need explaining. Recently however, many people have asked me to give them directions of how to do the journey or asked me if it is easy to do. Therefore two weeks ago whilst I was in Hong Kong, I took some photos during the journey to Hong Kong Disneyland. (more…)

  2. How to Get From Copenhagen Airport to Malmö by Train

When we visited Copenhagen for my birthday in October, we took the first flight in the morning from Heathrow as we always do whenever we fly somewhere in Europe. As we landed so early into Denmark, we decided that the only thing to do was to get the train from the airport across the Oresund Bridge to Malmö so we could both tick Sweden off on our list of countries we have visited. 3. How to Get From Istanbul Airport to Sultanahmet by Train

Before I travelled to Istanbul in December, I spent some time trying to research how to get the train from Atatürk Airport to Sultanahmet where we would be staying. Unfortunately I only found a few websites from searching on Google and none of them were remotely helpful – way too much pointless information on them. (more…)

  4. How to do Cinque Terre in a Day

If you have ever read any other of my blog posts you will know how much I hate organised tours. Why pay so much more money when travelling than is needed when you can experience the same and usually more by touring independently. (more…)

  5. How to Buy Train Tickets in Italy

In December I travelled to Pisa in Italy for a short break before Christmas. There is not much to do in Pisa apart from climb the Leaning Tower but just an easy train ride away is Cinque Terre – somewhere I had always wanted to visit from the first time I saw that iconic photo of the village of Manarola. (more…)

  6. How to Get from Gare du Nord to Disneyland Paris by RER

Most people when travelling from London to Disneyland Paris tend to use the direct Eurostar service to Marne-la-Vallée station which is situated next to the park. However this train does not run everyday during off-peak times and it does sell out leaving you to find an alternative route to get there. (more…)

  7. How to Exchange Your Japan Rail Pass at Narita Airport

When spending any time travelling in Japan, a Japan Rail Pass is a necessity. The savings that can be made are quite extraordinary if making several trips on the Shinkansen. A seven day pass just about pays for itself by doing a return trip from Tokyo to Shin-Osaka so any other trips you then make on the pass are a bonus. (more…)

  8. How to Get to the Great Wall of China at Badaling by Train

Before I travelled to Beijing recently, I spent a lot of time on the internet searching for information about catching the train from Beijing North station to the Great Wall of China at Badaling. Unfortunately I found a lot of confusing and conflicting information including many people saying to catch a train that does not even exist anymore! I took many photos on the journey in order to try and make it much simpler for anyone else who wants to do the same journey. (more…)
