1. Disney Wonder Very Merrytime Cruise: The Long Journey to Galveston

    You know that saying “it never rains but it pours” – well that phrase could accurately describe the run up to our long awaited holiday where we would be travelling to Galveston in Texas to board a Very Merrytime Cruise onboard the beautiful Disney Wonder. We had all the details of our trip planned for months and everything was booked and going to plan. We were going to be flying from London to Atlanta and then picking up a car and doing a road trip to Galveston – we even had all our stops planned and hotels booked and were both looking forward to it.   2. The World’s Largest Peanut – Ashburn, Georgia

    After a short stay in Orlando after our cruise on the Disney Dream last year, we had to drive to Atlanta to fly back home. The drive although easy is very long so I found myself doing my usual thing of seeing if there were any random roadside oddities to try and break up the journey. Our luck was in as next to the I-75 in the town of Ashburn in Georgia is the World’s Largest Peanut! (more…)

  3. Chihuly in the Garden – Atlanta Botanical Garden, Georgia

    A couple of months ago I saw some photos on Instagram of the Chihuly in the Garden exhibit at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens. I had loved visiting Chihuly Garden and Glass in Seattle last year so when I found myself in Atlanta this month, I made it my mission to visit. (more…)
