1. Rabbitland Cafe – Hong Kong

My most recent Hong Kong cute cafe discovery was the Rabbitland Cafe which I found out about thanks to a post that I saw on Instagram. It was even better as the Rabbitland Cafe is located in the heart of Causeway Bay on Hong Kong Island where I stay each time I am in Hong Kong – it really was just around the corner from my hotel so it only took me two minutes to walk there! 2. The Pompompurin Cafe – Hong Kong

For my final trip to a character cafe last year in Hong Kong, I decided to visit the Pompompurin Cafe. I will admit I did not know anything about Pompompurin apart from the fact that he is a Sanrio character. I soon discovered he is a golden retriever dog who wears a brown beret (according to his owner he looks like a pudding with his beret on and purin is Japanese for pudding), was born on the 16th April (a sunny day), loves caramel pudding and collects shoes. 3. Hello Kitty Secret Garden – Hong Kong

The next stop on my list of character cafes to visit in Hong Kong was the Hello Kitty Secret Garden cafe located on Ormsby Street in Tai Hang on Hong Kong Island. Thankfully I was staying in nearby Causeway Bay so it only took me just over ten minutes to walk there from my hotel. However if you are using the MTR to get there, then the closest station to the cafe is Tin Hau on the Island Line – you will need Exit B and then it’s just over a five minute walk from there. 4. Snoopy’s World – New Town Plaza, Sha Tin, Hong Kong

After my visit earlier this year to the Charlie Brown Cafe in Hong Kong, I knew that next on my list of places to visit would be Snoopy’s World – a small “theme park” located in the New Territories on top of the New Town Plaza shopping mall in Sha Tin.  The best thing about Snoopy’s World is that it is completely free of charge to visit. (more…)

  5. Hello Kitty Chinese Cuisine – Hong Kong

When I first started seeing photos of the themed dim sum at Hello Kitty Chinese Cuisine in Hong Kong, I knew that I had to visit. What’s not to like about a restaurant where everything including the food is themed to Hello Kitty? (more…)

  6. The Charlie Brown Cafe – Kowloon, Hong Kong

Last month in Hong Kong, I was really excited to be able to visit the Charlie Brown Cafe which is themed to Snoopy and the Peanuts gang. I had originally planned on heading there for lunch however after waking up early on my first morning, I quickly Googled the opening times and discovered that the cafe opened at 08:30am so I could go for a coffee and something to eat much earlier than I expected (more…)
